This was what Dr. Sabbagh wanted to achieve when he developed the orthodontic appliance named after him: the
Sabbagh Universal Spring.
His primary objective was to correct misalignments without having to rely on the patient's cooperation
and discipline in tending to the appliance every day.

Its activation functions and 24-hour use provide effective treatment for a receding lower
jaw
(distal bite), jaw joint repositioning and distalization.

Why we use the Sabbagh Universal Spring...
We like to use this appliance for the more convenient and comfortable treatment it provides.
It requires much less work and discipline from the patient because it eliminates the annoyance of having
to remove and then reinsert elastic bands every time you eat or brush your teeth.
The newly developed Sabbagh Universal Spring is therefore especially well suited to treat patients who are
less willing or able to cooperate in their treatment.
Only 4 to 6 Months...
is how long treatment with the Sabbagh Universal Spring takes, depending on the particular case.
It is significantly faster and easier than the traditional "elastic band method."
Other areas where its use is indicated are for late treatment when the child's growth is almost complete,
or when use of headgear or a removable appliance is not possible or is not desired for aesthetic reasons.

Does health insurance pay for this treatment?
As with the Jasper Jumper, treatment with this convenient appliance exceeds what public health insurance
companies are required to cover. Their insurance plans, unfortunately, do not cover the costs of treatment
with the Sabbagh Universal Spring.
As with all of our treatment methods - should you decide to choose this advanced treatment method, we will
discuss with you how you would like to pay for treatment.
