When the lower jaw is shifted back...
|
|
 |
|
|
|
A lower jaw that is shifted back relative to the upper jaw must be moved forward to allow the teeth of the upper and lower jaws to be positioned correctly and naturally relative to each other. This ideal position is also called normal bite or neutrocclusion.
Moving the jaw can be accomplished with elastic bands inserted into hooks on the brackets and stretching between the upper and lower teeth. They have to be worn 24 hours a day.
When eating or brushing the teeth, these bands have to be taken out and then put back on again afterwards. This requires a high degree of discipline and work on the patient?s part!

With the Jasper Jumper, treatment becomes easier and quicker...
This treatment can be accomplished very effectively and quickly with a Jasper Jumper, and the patient doesn't have to manipulate the appliance every day.
The Jasper Jumper is a high-tech construction that works with a spring and it is attached to the fixed braces. This spring moves the lower jaw into the correct position using a calculated, precisely adjusted force..

Only 2 to 5 Months...
is how long treatment with the Jasper Jumper takes, depending on the particular case.
It is significantly faster and simpler, and it requires much less work from the patient
because elastic bands do not have to be removed and then reinserted.

What public health insurance pays...
Treatment with this ingenious appliance exceeds what public health insurance companies are required to cover.
These insurance companies, unfortunately, do not cover the costs.
Should you decide to choose this advanced treatment method, we will discuss with you how you would like to pay for treatment,
whether outright as a lump sum or in monthly installments, whichever is most convenient for you.
What counts here is: Medical advancements and the possibilities they offer you always take precedence over everything else,
and that includes the current state of heath care politics!
